Home Remedy for Skunk Odors

 

  • 1quart 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon liquid dish soap

Mix the three ingredients together and use immediately, apply to pet before wetting fur with water.  If applied to a dog or other pet, do not allow solution to soak for more than a few minutes. Do not get solution in the eyes. Rinse animal thoroughly with water. The chemical reaction produced from these ingredients lasts only a limited time. Please do not try to store the solution.
